The player, playing as a 6 year old girl, wakes up in a round room full of doors and a pack of crayons in her pocket. The doors have numbers scribbled on them in red each one crossed out, however one door is labeled with a big yellow 1 on top of all the red numbers.The girl name is Esme Iris Forsand but as she has lost her memories, the player can call her whatever they want The story is that this little girl has lost her memory and its the players job to go thought the different doors and slowly piece together this girls memory, eventually piercing together that she used to live in an abusive home and blames herself for her parents being miserable so one day she walks in front of a car to try and end her parents pain. Then the game loops, and goes back to the beginning in the room full of doors, no memories but all of the players previous crayon markings are still there. Once the game loops the players goal is to figure what order of the doors will lead the girl to the realisation that her parents were cruel people not her, allowing her soul to finally find peace and move on. Once a player is sure of the doors number they can mark it with the yellow crayon
